This was the 2nd project we worked on for a developer in Chislehurst, Kent. Plot 2 was the first one we completed and Plot 1 was the 2nd which was about 18 months later.
Both were luxury 5 bedroom new build projects build over 3 floors, with a games room in the loft too!
Plot 1, the 2nd project was spray plastered by Steve and the team at Currier Plastering and once finished we followed shortly afterwards to paint it.
There are quite a few benefits of spray plaster over traditional plaster such as thistle multi finish but the biggest one, especially for contractors is that it dries in around 24 hours so its ready to be sanded and painted far quicker.
This project was completed using Tikkurila paints on walls, ceilings and woodwork.
Colours in Plot 1 were: white ceilings and woodwork, doors were pre-finished in Plot 2 but painted white in Plot 1. Walls were mostly a copy of Farrow & Ball Cornforth White, the Kitchen was Strong White, Lounge in Stiffkey Blue, Bedroom 2 in Cromarty and a feature wall in the master in Stiffkey blue.
We spray painted the kitchen and utility room in Plot 1 as clients didn’t like the colour. We will show this in another case study.
3 rooms were wallpapered including the downstairs WC, Family Room and Bedroom 3. With the workload we had we didn’t have time to do it so called in the expertise of Rhys of McWilliams Decorating Contractors.
